WHO WE ARE

A meeting of paths. A shared exploration.

The Inner Move is a Swiss association founded in 2025 by Eveline Noth and Michel Casanovas.

Our work has grown through many years of artistic research, somatic practice, education, and international collaboration. At the heart of The Inner Move is a meeting between movement and music, artistic expression and body awareness, individual exploration and collective experience.

We create spaces in which people can listen more deeply, explore new possibilities, and discover how movement, creativity, and human connection can support meaningful transformation.

Our work is rooted in a simple conviction: change cannot be imposed. It emerges when there is space to explore, when curiosity replaces judgement, and when people feel safe enough to discover something new.

The people behind The Inner Move:

Eveline Noth

*Musician · Feldenkrais Practitioner · Cranio-Sacral Therapist*

Eveline Noth is a musician with classical and contemporary training, graduating from the

universities of the arts in Bern and Zurich.

For more than twenty years, she has developed work at the crossroads of music, movement,

improvisation, and sensory research. She regularly collaborates with dancers, video artists,

and interdisciplinary artists in Switzerland and internationally.

As a certified Feldenkrais practitioner and Cranio-Sacral therapist, she also works with body

awareness, listening, and individual processes of exploration.

In The Inner Move, Eveline brings together sound, movement, perception, and therapeutic

sensitivity, creating spaces where attention can deepen and new possibilities can emerge.

Michel Casanovas

*Dancer · Choreographer · Feldenkrais Practitioner*

Michel Casanovas has been active on the European and international

contemporary dance scene for more than forty years.

As a dancer, choreographer, and certified Feldenkrais practitioner, he develops

artistic and pedagogical work combining contemporary dance, improvisation,

and movement awareness. His research explores the relationship between

movement, natural forces, fluidity, and the body's capacity to adapt and

transform.

Since 2006, he has developed collaborations with artistic companies and

institutions in India. In 2015, he founded the ONA association in Collioure,

southern France, a place dedicated to artistic residencies and the transmission

of knowledge through practice.

In The Inner Move, Michel brings his long-standing research in dance and

movement into dialogue with music, somatic awareness, and intercultural collaboration.

 A practice shaped through encounter

The Inner Move emerged from the meeting of our different paths and from a shared desire to explore how artistic experience and embodied awareness can contribute to human development.

Our collaboration has grown through encounters with artists, educators, therapists, researchers, and community organisations. These relationships continue to shape our work and challenge us to remain curious, attentive, and open to different perspectives.

Our long-standing connections between Switzerland, France, and India are central to this process. We do not see intercultural work as the transfer of a finished model from one place to another. We understand it as a mutual learning process, shaped by trust, dialogue, and the knowledge each person and community brings.

What guides us

We value attention over control, curiosity over judgement, and relationship over fixed answers.

We believe that artistic experience can open new ways of perceiving ourselves and the world. That the body is not simply something we move, but a source of information, creativity, and understanding. And that meaningful learning happens not only through explanation, but through direct experience.

Like water, our practice explores fluidity, adaptability, and the possibility of finding new pathways. It continues to evolve through the people who take part, the places where we meet, and the questions we explore together.

The Inner Move is more than a programme or a method. It is a living practice that grows through movement, listening, creativity, and shared experience.

An invitation to connect

We welcome collaborations with artists, educators, therapists, institutions, and communities who share an interest in creative exploration, human development, and intercultural exchange.

Together, we can create spaces where people discover new possibilities in themselves, in their relationships, and in the world around them.

Every lasting transformation begins with a movement within.
